Common Belief Statements

We, the counselors at Ferrucci believe:

  • Every student can learn.
  • All students have an equal right to access a licensed school counselor and to participate in a comprehensive school counseling program designed to address academic, personal, social and career issues.
  • Diversity is to be respected and appreciated as we develop relationships among our students, staff, families and community.
  • Learning requires the active participation and mutual respect and accountability of students, staff and community members and is a lifelong process.
  • School counselors should implement and manage data driven programs to support interventions and activities which close the gap of inequitable access to education.
  • School counselors will annually evaulate the program through data, reflection and feedback from the school community.
  • School counselors will adhere to the American School Counselor Association's ethical guidelines and standards.
  • School counselors address the developmental needs and levels of our students.
