Counselors at Ferrucci:

Academic

 - Meet individually with students and families regarding academic issues
 - Facilitate student 504 Plans
 - Create and change/adjust student schedules
 - Work with elementary and high schools to facilitate student transitions
 - Provide classroom guidance in the areas of: student success skills, registration planning, etc.
 - Facilitate psycho-educational small groups to support academic issues
College/Career
 - Meet individually with students and families regarding college and career issues
 - Identify and coordinate students for the College Bound Scholarship
 - Introduce High School & Beyond Plan expectations for graduation and beyond
 - Provide classroom guidance in the areas of: college/career planning
 - Facilitate psycho-educational small groups to support college and career planning
Social Emotional
 - Meet individually with students and families regarding personal and social emotional issues
 - Work with families experiencing homelessness and coordinate services for McKinney-Vento
 - Work with staff to help manage student behavior
 - Provide classroom guidance in the areas of: antibullying, motivation, stress management, etc.
 - Facilitate psycho-educational small groups to support personal and social emotional issues
